The method comprises the following steps: acquiring current driving data of a vehicle, lane line track information of a road on which the vehicle is driven and current road surface information of the vehicle; according to the current vehicle speed and the current acceleration in the current driving data and the current road surface information, the allowable lateral acceleration and the allowable yaw velocity of the vehicle on the current road surface are determined; predicting the actual lateral acceleration and the actual yaw velocity of the vehicle at the next moment according to the current vehicle speed and the lane line trajectory information in the current driving data, wherein the next moment is later than the current moment when the current vehicle speed is obtained; and determining whether the vehicle state of the vehicle is an unstable state according to the allowed lateral acceleration and the actual lateral acceleration, and/or the allowed yaw velocity and the actual yaw velocity. According to the invention, the safety of vehicle driving is improved.
