The invention belongs to the technical field of ship manufacturing, and provides a ship stern door hoisting method which comprises the following steps: acquiring a compression precision error threshold value of a sealing gasket and generating a precision segmentation error condition; performing first-stage operation on the door frame and the stern door, and enabling first flatness data of the stern structure to meet a precision segmentation error condition; performing second-stage operation on the door frame; calculating a first compression precision error and a first deviation value of the sealing gasket; adjusting the position of the reverse jacking structure according to the first deviation value so as to mount the base structure; performing second-stage operation on the stern door; calculating to obtain a second compression precision error and a second deviation value; and adjusting preset mounting information of the sealing gasket according to the second deviation value to mount the sealing gasket. According to the hoisting method, compression precision control is decomposed into precision control in operation in different stages, accurate positioning of the base structure is achieved, the error of the compression amount of the sealing gasket is effectively reduced, hoisting operation of the stern door can be completed at a time, and the hoisting efficiency is improved.
