The method begins with the following steps: receiving (S21) a first data set characterizing the dynamics of the object in each case. A graph based on the potential representation is then generated (S23). The graph is then propagated through a graph neural network (12) outputting the updated graph. Based on the updated graph, the decoder (13) outputs the predicted dynamics of the selected object for the subsequent time step.
