The invention discloses an air throwing type autonomous underwater vehicle, which belongs to the technical field of marine environment observation and seabed resource exploration, and comprises a head hydrophone section, a communication antenna section, an energy cabin section, a tail power section and a parachute assembly which are sequentially connected in the axial direction, the parachute assembly comprises a head cover, a connecting belt, a parachute opening mechanism and a parachute. The head cover is arranged on the front portion of the head hydrophone section in a sleeving mode, the parachute opening mechanism is arranged on the rear portion of the tail power section, the parachute opening mechanism and the head cover are connected through a connecting belt, and the head cover and the parachute opening mechanism are fixed to the underwater vehicle body through a tensioning belt. The parachute is located in the parachute opening mechanism. The air launching type autonomous underwater vehicle has remarkable advantages in the aspects of structure, energy efficiency, reliability, simplicity and convenience in operation and the like, the cost can be effectively reduced, the performance can be effectively improved, meanwhile, the application range of the AUV is expanded, and the air launching type autonomous underwater vehicle is particularly suitable for the fields of deep sea detection, environment monitoring, military reconnaissance and the like.
