A power connector (102) includes a housing (110) having a terminal channel (116) that holds a terminal (114). The terminal includes a mating pin at a front portion (210) of the terminal and a cable connector at a rear portion (212, 316) of the terminal. A mating pin (200) is positioned in the terminal channel for mating with the charging connector. The power connector includes a power cable (118) including a conductor terminated to a cable connector (202) at a rear of a terminal. The power connector includes a cable heat exchanger (300) thermally coupled to a conductor of the power cable. The cable heat exchanger includes coolant channels (302) for flowing coolant through the cable heat exchanger to actively cool conductors of the power supply cable. The thermally conductive isolator electrically insulates the cable heat exchanger from a conductor (180) of the power cable.
