A power connector (102) includes a housing (110) having a terminal channel (116) and a terminal (114) received in the terminal channel, the terminal including the terminal channel at a front portion of the terminal and a cable connector (202) at a rear portion of the terminal. The mating pin is located in the terminal channel to mate with the charging connector. The cable connector includes a pad (242) configured to terminate to a power cable (118). The power connector includes a heat exchanger (300) thermally coupled to the pads of the terminals. The heat exchanger includes a refrigerant passage (302) to flow refrigerant through the heat exchanger to actively cool the terminal. The heat exchanger includes a thermally conductive separator (392) that electrically isolates the heat exchanger from the pads of the terminals.
