An automobile bumper structure is used for being installed at the front end and the rear end of an automobile body and used in cooperation with a lamp strip on the surface of the automobile body and comprises a transparent PP bumper body, a transparent primer layer, a laser etching layer, a light-transmitting colored paint layer and a paint film protection layer are sequentially arranged on the surface of the transparent PP bumper body in a stacked mode, and laser etching patterns are arranged on the laser etching layer; the transparent primer layer is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 20 to 30 percent of chlorinated polyolefin resin, 1 to 2 percent of polyester phosphate adhesion promoter, 1 to 3 percent of acrylic modified resin, 25 to 30 percent of butyl acetate, 25 to 30 percent of xylene, 13 to 18 percent of cyclohexanone and 0.1 to 0.4 percent of modified polymer flatting agent. The invention further discloses a method for machining the automobile bumper structure.
