The invention discloses a transportation robot capable of expanding the operation range, the transportation robot comprises a base, a first-stage support assembly, a second-stage support assembly, a third-stage support assembly and a telescopic linkage assembly, the first end of the first-stage support assembly is hinged to the base, and the second end of the first-stage support assembly can swing up and down; the second-stage support assembly is movably arranged on the first-stage support assembly. The third-stage bracket assembly is movably arranged on the second-stage bracket assembly; the telescopic linkage assembly is arranged on the second-stage support assembly, the third-stage support assembly is connected with the telescopic linkage assembly, and the second-stage support assembly drives the third-stage support assembly to move in the same direction through the telescopic linkage assembly, so that the operation range of object taking and placing of the transportation robot is enlarged. When the transportation robot transports objects, the first-stage support assembly, the second-stage support assembly and the third-stage support assembly can be contracted and folded, the gravity center of the transportation robot is lowered, the stability of the transportation robot is improved, and tipping is avoided. The robot can be widely applied to the technical field of robots.
