The invention provides a driving stability scoring method and system, a vehicle-mounted terminal and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining the driving data of a vehicle, the driving data comprising the real-time map data in the current time period and the real-time fluctuation amplitude and real-time fluctuation frequency of the vehicle speed; according to the current time period, the real-time map data and a preset mapping relation, the reference fluctuation amplitude and the reference fluctuation frequency of the vehicle speed are obtained through matching; calculating the real-time fluctuation amplitude and the reference fluctuation amplitude to determine a fluctuation amplitude score, and calculating the real-time fluctuation frequency and the reference fluctuation frequency to determine a fluctuation frequency score; and determining a smoothness score according to the fluctuation amplitude score and/or the fluctuation frequency score. The driving stability is evaluated through the two dimensions of the amplitude and the frequency of the speed fluctuation in combination with the two influence factors of the time period and the map data, so that the standardized and accurate quantitative evaluation of the driving stability is realized, and the accuracy of the evaluation result of the driving stability is ensured.
