The method comprises the following steps: acquiring historical traffic associated data of a target region; wherein the historical traffic associated data comprises historical passenger flow data, weather data and holiday and festival data; based on the historical traffic associated data, utilizing an integrated learning method to obtain a passenger flow prediction model; and based on the passenger flow prediction model, predicting passenger flow data of the target area in a period of time in the future. The method can effectively predict and cope with the sudden increase of the passenger flow, avoids traffic congestion, guarantees the service quality, and is of great significance to urban traffic management.
