The invention discloses a method for calculating the height change of a tire core during steering of kingpin inward inclination and kingpin backward inclination. The method for calculating the height change of the tire core during steering of kingpin inward inclination comprises the following steps: step 1, calculating the vertical displacement of the tire core on the ground during steering under the condition of kingpin inward inclination; step 2, a tire core height variation calculation method during steering; and step 3, calculating the height variation of the tire core according to the vertical displacement of the tire core on the ground and the vertical displacement of the outer lower side of the tire on the ground during steering under the condition that the kingpin inclines inwards. The calculation method not only can help engineering technicians to understand deeply, but also can be applied to the development process of an automobile chassis, such as calibration of assisting power during development of a power-assisted steering system. In addition, the calculation formula can be programmed and then embedded into the whole vehicle dynamics simulation software, so that the simulation result is more accurate.
