The invention relates to the technical field of train coupling and uncoupling, in particular to an urban rail train coupling and uncoupling method based on flexible marshalling, which comprises the following steps: determining the distance between each to-be-coupled train unit based on the distance between each to-be-coupled train unit and the adjacent train unit and the length of each to-be-coupled train unit, the optimal coupling distance of each train unit to be coupled is determined by combining the front safety guarantee distance and the rear safety guarantee distance; and on the basis of the length, the running speed and the acceleration in the de-compiling process of each coupled train unit, determining the safe de-compiling distance of each coupled train unit, and carrying out coupling and de-compiling on the train units by combining the optimal coupling distance. According to the method, by analyzing the optimal coupling distance and the safe de-compiling distance, the coupling and de-compiling efficiency and safety of the urban rail train are improved.
