本发明公开了一种省力棘轮式多级驻车结构,包括安装在自行车握把上的制动把手座、铰接在制动把手座上的制动把手,制动把手与制动钢线连接,制动把手上固定有棘轮块,制动把手座上铰接有棘爪与拨手,棘爪与棘轮块配合使用,拨手与棘爪之间设有弹簧组合。需要驻车时,顺时针转动所述拨手,弹簧组合的弹性势能部分释放,弹簧组合作用于棘爪,使棘爪靠拢棘轮块,棘齿与棘爪啮合,制动把手的制动状态被保持,实现驻车。解除驻车时,逆时针转动拨手,在弹簧组合的弹力下,棘爪远离棘轮块,驻车解除。本设计只要克服弹簧力就可以实现驻车及解除,且可利用弹簧组合自复位功能实现自动解除驻车,操作方便。本设计采用棘轮结构,可实现多个挡位驻车。
