A control unit (9) determines whether or not freezing occurs in an inlet-side pressure introduction pipe (10) or an outlet-side pressure introduction pipe (11), which is a path through which pressure is introduced into a differential pressure sensor (8), in the differential pressure sensor (8) that detects pressure loss of a GPF (5). If it is determined that freezing has occurred, the control means (9) sets the count value of the freezing release counter to a predetermined initial value, increases or decreases the count value of the freezing release counter with respect to the initial value on the basis of the operating state of the internal combustion engine (2), and if the count value of the freezing release counter reaches a predetermined freezing determination release threshold value, the control means (9) determines that freezing has occurred. If so, it is determined that the freezing occurring in the differential pressure sensor (8), the inlet-side pressure introduction pipe (10), or the outlet-side pressure introduction pipe (11) has ablated. The count value of the freeze release counter decreases during the temporary stop of the internal combustion engine (2) and increases during the operation of the internal combustion engine (2).

    控制单元(9)判定在对GPF(5)的压力损失进行检测的压差传感器(8)、作为将压力导入压差传感器(8)的路径的入口侧压力导入管(10)或者出口侧压力导入管(11)是否产生冰冻。如果判定为产生冰冻,则控制单元(9)将冰冻解除计数器的计数值设定为规定的初始值,基于内燃机(2)的运转状态,使冰冻解除计数器的计数值相对于初始值而增减,如果冰冻解除计数器的计数值达到规定的冰冻判定解除阈值,则判定为在压差传感器(8)、入口侧压力导入管(10)或者出口侧压力导入管(11)产生的冰冻已消融。冰冻解除计数器的计数值在内燃机(2)的暂时停止中减小,在内燃机(2)的运转中增大。
