The method comprises the steps of obtaining a target signal set of a vehicle, and determining a first rotating speed and a second rotating speed corresponding to two side wheel ends according to a wheel end rotating speed signal and a motor rotating speed signal under the condition that the wheel end rotating speed signal of one side wheel end is invalid and the motor rotating speed signal is valid, and under the condition that a target difference value between the first rotating speed and the second rotating speed meets a first difference value condition and the vehicle meets a normal communication condition, target torques corresponding to the wheel ends on the two sides are determined according to the target difference value and the vehicle speed of the vehicle, so that the MCU controls the output torques of the wheel ends on the two sides according to the target torques. By adopting the method, the output torque of the two side wheel ends can be adjusted in time, differential damage caused by difference of the rotating speeds of the two side wheel ends is avoided, and the safety of the differential is effectively guaranteed.
