By utilizing the characteristics that the high-power nickel-metal hydride battery has the service life of over million times of shallow charging and shallow discharging and has no explosion and fire risk, the high-power nickel-metal hydride battery recovery device is directly hung on a direct-current bus of a frequency converter, so that transformation conversion is avoided, efficient recovery of regenerated electric energy of the crane and system simplification are realized, and the cost is reduced. The one-time purchase cost of direct-current conversion and battery management equipment is reduced, and the energy-saving efficiency of the crane is improved.
