The invention belongs to the technical field of reach stacks, and particularly relates to a leaning type reach stacker for temporary stacking of containers. The leaning type reach stacker for temporary stacking of the containers comprises a mark unfolding assembly which is arranged on a touch assembly and is suitable for obtaining the weight of the hoisted container through a weight detection sensor in a lifting appliance assembly and descending a mark base rod to a corresponding position, so that when the touch assembly makes contact with the side edge of the top of the stack, the mark unfolding assembly is unfolded; and after the container pile shakes, the marking assembly moves by a preset distance along the marking base rod, so that intermittent marks are marked on the side wall of the top of the pile when the container pile shakes to the marking base rod and after the container pile restores to be static. The leaning type reach stacker can identify the stability degree of the container pile relative to the weight of the current hoisted container, and as the stability degree of each container pile near the gantry crane relative to the weight of each hoisted container is more and more completely identified, the link of aligning and stacking the hoisted container and the container pile by the reach stacker is greatly accelerated.
