The invention discloses a multi-parking-space automatic charging system and an intelligent control method thereof, which are applied to the multi-parking-space automatic charging system arranged in an electric vehicle charging station. The system comprises a control assembly, a license plate recognition assembly, a visual recognition assembly, a plurality of charging trusses, multi-parking-space charging assemblies arranged on the charging trusses, and charging piles arranged in the charging trusses. Wherein the multi-parking-space charging assembly comprises a sliding guide rail module and a mechanical arm module, the sliding guide rail module is arranged on the charging truss, and the mechanical arm module is arranged on the sliding guide rail module. According to the embodiment of the invention, the mechanical arm module can be driven by the sliding guide rail module in the multi-parking-space charging assembly to grab the charging gun on the charging pile and move to the to-be-charged electric vehicle of any parking space in the multiple parking spaces under the charging truss for automatic charging operation; the operation that one multi-parking-space charging assembly carries out automatic charging on the to-be-charged electric cars on the multiple parking spaces is achieved, and the equipment deployment cost is reduced.
