The method comprises the steps that electric vehicle energy consumption data time sequences and predictive factors corresponding to a plurality of sub-areas in a target area are acquired, and the predictive factors represent factors influencing electric vehicle energy consumption; on the basis of the prediction factor and the electric vehicle energy consumption data time series corresponding to the multiple sub-regions, predicting future energy consumption conditions corresponding to the multiple sub-regions; acquiring historical electric vehicle energy consumption data corresponding to the target area; and based on the historical electric vehicle energy consumption data and the future energy consumption conditions corresponding to the plurality of sub-regions, predicting the future energy consumption condition corresponding to the target region. The technical problem that the prediction efficiency and precision are low due to the fact that an existing electric vehicle energy consumption prediction method cannot effectively process periodicity and volatility of large-scale electric vehicles is solved.
