A method, system, and non-transitory storage medium for determining agent importance predictions for autonomous driving. Input features associated with agents present in an environment around a vehicle are processed. Output features associated with the agent are determined based on the input features. And predicting the importance of each agent by using the output features. One or more movements of the vehicle are determined based on the predicted agent importance.
