The invention discloses a vehicle climbing control method, device and equipment and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of vehicle control. The method comprises the steps that vehicle speed information, gradient and accelerator pedal opening of a vehicle are obtained; a target gearbox gear is obtained according to the vehicle speed information, the gradient and the opening degree of the accelerator pedal; and the vehicle is controlled to climb according to the target gearbox gear. By analyzing the data information of the vehicle in the climbing process, the gear of the gearbox is controlled by the automatic gearbox control unit, so that the driving requirements under the conditions of different gradients, accelerators and vehicle speeds are met, and the climbing performance is remarkably improved while stable driving of the vehicle is guaranteed.
