The method comprises the steps that whether a vehicle meets a preset in-transit thermal management activation condition or not is judged; if yes, an in-transit heat management mode is activated, and the current battery highest temperature, the current battery lowest temperature and the current environment temperature are obtained, and if the current battery highest temperature and the current environment temperature are both higher than or equal to a preset in-transit high temperature threshold value, a high-temperature in-transit heat management strategy is executed; and if the current battery lowest temperature and the current environment temperature are both lower than or equal to the preset in-transit low-temperature threshold value, executing a low-temperature in-transit heat management strategy. On the premise of ensuring the thermal safety of the battery and the dynamic property of the whole vehicle, unnecessary heating or cooling of the battery thermal management system can be avoided as much as possible, the energy consumption of battery thermal management is reduced, and the comprehensive endurance mileage of the whole vehicle is improved.
