The invention provides a no-signal control intersection safety risk assessment method. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the position of each boundary point in a no-signal control intersection area; real vehicle testing is carried out on the intersection, and testing data in the real vehicle testing process are collected; the test data comprises time, position and speed; for each piece of test data, judging whether the test data is in the intersection area or not based on the position relationship between the position of the test data and each boundary point in the intersection area; calculating a vehicle speed discrete index of the intersection based on the test data in the intersection area; and based on the vehicle speed discrete index, according to a safety risk threshold, determining a safety risk level of the intersection. According to the evaluation method, safety risk evaluation can be carried out on the intersection under the practical conditions that manpower, financial resources and energy of a traffic management department are limited and the number of intersections without signal control is large, and the traffic management department is helped to carry out deeper traffic potential safety hazard investigation.
