The invention provides a container for a flying body and the flying body. Provided is a means for achieving sufficient strength against the difference between internal and external pressures with respect to an airtight container for a flying body that flies to a high altitude. A container (13) for a flying body is provided with: an airtight container main body (131); a restraining member (132) disposed so as to be in contact with the outer surface of the container body (131); and an adjustment mechanism (133) that adjusts the strength of the force that the restraining member (132) fastens the container body (131) from the outside. As the flying body rises, a force that is pushed out from the inside toward the outside is generated on the container body (131) due to the difference between the inside and outside pressures, and the container body (131) is deformed due to the force. The restraining member (132) fastens the container main body (131) from the outside to resist the force. As a result, deformation of the container main body (131) is suppressed, and defects such as breakage of the container main body (131) caused by the deformation are avoided.
