The invention provides a bidirectional direct current converter, a direct current charging pile and an energy storage system. The bidirectional DC converter comprises a first end; a second end; the buck-boost circuit is connected with the first end and comprises a first half-bridge circuit, a second half-bridge circuit and a first inductor, and the first half-bridge circuit comprises a first switching tube and a second switching tube which are connected end to end; the second half-bridge circuit comprises a third switch tube and a fourth switch tube which are connected end to end; the first inductor is connected to a midpoint between the first switch tube and the second switch tube and a midpoint between the third switch tube and the fourth switch tube; the source electrode of the fourth switch tube is connected with the source electrode of the second switch tube; the bidirectional full-bridge circuit is connected with the second end and comprises a primary DCDC full-bridge circuit, a resonance network, a transformer and a secondary DCDC full-bridge circuit which are connected in sequence; and the first capacitor is used for being connected between the buck-boost circuit and the bidirectional full-bridge circuit. According to the bidirectional direct-current converter provided by the invention, any one of the two sides can be quickly subjected to buck-boost operation.
