The invention discloses a bidirectional DC power converter and a DC charging pile, and the converter comprises a first end, a second end, at least two bidirectional DCDC units, a primary side switch, a secondary side switch, a first switching circuit, a second switching circuit, and a controller. The bidirectional DCDC unit comprises a transformer, a primary side DCDC circuit and a primary side resonance network which are sequentially connected between the first end and the primary side of the transformer, and a secondary side DCDC circuit and a secondary side resonance network which are sequentially connected between the second end and the secondary side of the transformer; and the controller is configured to control the at least two primary DCDC circuits to form series connection or parallel connection, and/or control the at least two secondary DCDC circuits to form series connection or parallel connection and control the on-off of the primary switch and the secondary switch. The bidirectional direct-current power converter provided by the invention can be suitable for different scenes, the voltage regulation capability of the bidirectional direct-current power converter is improved, the conversion efficiency is ensured, components with higher bearing capability do not need to be used, and the device cost is reduced.
