The invention discloses an ocean three-dimensional magnetic gradient measurement system and method, and in the system, an ocean magnetic gradiometer acquisition system, an electric winch, a stern A frame, an underwater positioning system, a multi-beam measurement system, a navigation positioning system and a generator are installed on a working ship. And the gradiometer towfish is placed in seawater. And the armored cable is connected with the marine magnetic gradiometer towfish and the marine magnetic gradiometer acquisition system. The electric winch is used for winding the armored cable. And the stern A frame supports the armored cable. And the annular counterweight is connected to the armored cable and is arranged in seawater. The floating ball is connected with the marine magnetic gradiometer towfish and arranged on the surface of seawater. And the generator is connected with the ocean magnetic gradiometer acquisition system, the underwater positioning system, the multi-beam measurement system and the navigation positioning system. According to the system, the stability and reliability of data acquisition during fish towing operation of the marine magnetic gradiometer can be improved, and the quality of magnetic gradient detection data of pipelines, cables and abandoned well mouths built on the seabed is improved.
