The low-overload control method comprises the steps that multiple stages of gas generators are arranged on the launch canister and connected with a circuit; and multi-stage ignition is realized at a preset time interval. The preset interval time is determined as follows: analyzing the stress of the adapter to obtain a state equation; initial ignition interval time is selected, and a time-emission overload and speed curve under the interval time is obtained; judging whether the launching overload and the speed meet the requirements or not through theoretical calculation, and if not, adjusting the ignition interval time according to the preset ignition interval time adjustment precision; actual overload and speed data are obtained through a launching test; actual overload and speed data are compared with theoretical overload and speed data, and expected ignition interval time is corrected; and the process is repeated, and the reasonable ignition interval time covering all the working conditions is determined. Launching overload of the gas type launching canister of the small unmanned aerial vehicle can be greatly reduced, the design and production cost of the unmanned aerial vehicle is effectively reduced, and the product performance of the unmanned aerial vehicle is improved.
