The invention provides a self-charging tail-sitting type unmanned aerial vehicle adaptive to a launch canister. The unmanned aerial vehicle comprises a head propeller, a propeller driving motor, folding wings, wing actuating motors, a fuselage, a rechargeable battery and an electromagnetic induction power generation device, the head propeller is positioned at the head end of the fuselage; the folding wings are located on the two sides of the side wall of the fuselage. The propeller driving motor provides driving force for the head propeller; the wing actuating motors provide driving force for unfolding or folding of the folding wings; the rechargeable battery provides electric energy for the propeller driving motor and the wing actuating motor; and the electromagnetic induction power generation device is used for charging the rechargeable battery.
