The invention provides a driving torque control unit and a driving torque control method for a vehicle. The vehicle has a front axle and a rear axle which can be driven separately, and the front axle and the rear axle are each coupled to two wheels. The driving torque control unit includes: a detection module configured to detect whether a vehicle is in a single-axle slip state in which one of a front axle and a rear axle is a slip axle and the other is a non-slip axle; the distribution module is configured to redistribute the driving torque of the two axles when it is detected that the vehicle is in a single-axle slipping state, so that at least part of the driving torque on the slipping axle is transferred to the non-slipping axle in a transfer speed controllable mode, the transfer speed is associated with a degree to which a slip rate of the slip shaft is greater than a slip rate threshold.
