The invention discloses computerized aircraft fault isolation. A method (200) for computerized aircraft fault isolation includes receiving (202), at a computing device (300), a current maintenance-related pattern (304) that includes a set of one or more digital maintenance messages (104A-C) reported during flight of an aircraft (100). Comparing (204) the current maintenance-related pattern (304) to a digital maintenance record database (306), the digital maintenance record database (306) comprising a plurality of historical maintenance-related patterns (308A-C) observed during a previous aircraft flight, each associated with an indication (314) of one or more aircraft components, the one or more aircraft components, when replaced, address a root failure corresponding to a historical maintenance-related mode (304). Based on an adaptive similarity threshold (400), the selected set of historical maintenance-related modes (600) is computer-identified (206) as corresponding (304) to the current maintenance-related mode. A selected aircraft component (902A) associated with the selected set of historical maintenance-related modes (600) is computer-identified (208) as a candidate for replacement on the aircraft (100) to process the current maintenance-related mode (304).
