The invention discloses a battery management method applicable to a plurality of electric vehicles. First, the presence of at least one target battery in the electric vehicle is detected. When the target battery exists in the electric vehicle, obtaining first group identification data from the target battery, and obtaining second group identification data of the corresponding electric vehicle; then, judging whether the first group identification data is consistent with the second group identification data or not; when the first group identification data and the second group identification data are matched, the target battery is accepted, and the electric vehicle can be started.
