An occupant information acquisition apparatus (40) includes: a seating information acquisition means for acquiring seating information of an occupant (70) seated in a rear seat of a vehicle (60) from a sensor (10) configured to detect the occupant (70); imaging condition control means for activating a second imaging condition in the imaging device (20), the second imaging condition being different from the first imaging condition when imaging the image data of the occupant (70) in the driver seat (61), and causing the imaging device (20) to image the image data of the occupant (70) in the rear seat (63); and an image data acquisition means for acquiring image data captured by the imaging device (20).
