PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an occupant having driving aptitude to drive a vehicle when automatic operation is switched to manual operation.SOLUTION: An occupant information acquisition device includes: an automatic operation control part 12 which switches an operation of a vehicle between automatic operation and manual operation; an alcohol sensor 16, a camera 18, a microphone 20, a heartbeat sensor 22, a display operation part 24, and a data base 26 which read information regarding driving aptitude of occupants from the occupants in the vehicle; and a display operation part 24 which informs an occupant who is suitable for driving from the occupants in the vehicle on the basis of a reading result of the information on the occupants when the automatic operation control part 12 switches the operation of the vehicle from automatic operation to manual operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
