The invention provides a fire-fighting system and a fire-fighting method for a battery charging and replacing cabinet. The fire-fighting method comprises the following steps: acquiring the battery cell temperature of each battery compartment of the battery charging and replacing cabinet, the smoke concentration in the battery charging and replacing cabinet and the temperature in each battery compartment; judging whether the battery cell temperature of each battery compartment exceeds a first preset temperature threshold value, if so, generating a first alarm signal, otherwise, judging whether the smoke concentration exceeds a preset concentration threshold value and/or judging whether the temperature in each battery compartment exceeds a second preset temperature threshold value, and if the smoke concentration exceeds the preset concentration threshold value, generating a second alarm signal; generating a second alarm signal, and generating a third alarm signal when determining that the temperature in any battery compartment exceeds a second preset temperature threshold; generating a control signal based on the alarm signal, and executing a fire extinguishing action according to the control signal. The system is high in automation and intelligence level, and can carry out rapid identification and accurate positioning in the early stage of a fire disaster, and automatically execute the fire extinguishing action.
