The invention relates to a Y-shaped spoke for a non-pneumatic tire. Various embodiments described herein include a non-pneumatic tire including spokes extending in a radial direction between a shear band and a hub. The spoke includes a first leg and a second leg extending from the shear band to an intersection. The spoke also includes a third leg extending from the hub to the intersection. The first leg and the third leg are oriented in the same direction that is oriented at an angle to the orientation of the second leg. Further, the first leg, the second leg, and the third leg intersect at an intersection point to form a Y-shaped structure.
