A resistor detection circuit and an automobile are used for detecting the resistance value of a terminal resistor under the condition that a wire harness does not need to be disassembled. The resistance detection circuit comprises a first switch unit, a second switch unit and a first voltage regulating unit; the first end of the first switch unit is connected with the power supply, and the second end is connected with the first end of the to-be-tested resistor; the first end of the second switch unit is connected with the second end of the resistor to be tested, and the second end is grounded; and the first voltage regulating unit is connected with the second switch unit and is used for controlling the control end voltage of the switch device in the second switch unit to be the preset voltage, so that the current flowing through the resistor to be tested is the preset current. The conduction degree of a switching device in the second switching unit is controlled to be fixed through the first voltage regulating unit, the current flowing through the series-connected to-be-measured resistor can be controlled to be kept unchanged, and the voltage of the two ends of the to-be-measured resistor can be calculated through the first signal representing the potential of the first end of the second switching unit. And the resistance value of the resistor to be measured can be accurately calculated through the voltage and the preset current.
