The embodiment of the invention discloses automatic driving equipment and a target recognition method. The automatic driving equipment comprises a vehicle body, a processor, a first rearview mirror installed on the left side of the vehicle body and a second rearview mirror installed on the right side of the vehicle body, the first rearview mirror comprises a first fusion module, a first laser radar and a second laser radar, and the second rearview mirror comprises a second fusion module, a third laser radar and a fourth laser radar; the first fusion module is used for obtaining a first fusion point cloud according to an echo signal collected by the first laser radar and an echo signal collected by the second laser radar; the second fusion module is used for obtaining a second fusion point cloud according to the echo signal acquired by the third laser radar and the echo signal acquired by the fourth laser radar; and the processor is used for performing target identification according to the first fusion point cloud and the second fusion point cloud. A plurality of laser radars are integrated in the rearview mirror as blind compensation devices, so that the detection precision of close-range targets around a vehicle body can be effectively improved.

    本申请实施例公开了一种自动驾驶设备及目标识别方法。该自动驾驶设备包括车体、处理器、安装于车体左侧的第一后视镜和安装于车体右侧的第二后视镜,第一后视镜包括第一融合模块、第一激光雷达和第二激光雷达,第二后视镜包括第二融合模块、第三激光雷达和第四激光雷达;第一融合模块用于根据第一激光雷达采集的回波信号和第二激光雷达采集的回波信号,得到第一融合点云;第二融合模块用于根据第三激光雷达采集的回波信号和第四激光雷达采集的回波信号,得到第二融合点云;处理器用于根据第一融合点云和第二融合点云进行目标识别。通过将多个激光雷达作为补盲器件集成于后视镜内,可以有效提升对车体周围近距离目标物的检测精度。
