Target braking recovery torque is determined by responding to an activation signal of an anti-lock braking system (ABS) of the vehicle and based on whether front wheels and rear wheels of the vehicle are locked or not, namely based on whether wheels, close to the vehicle head side and the vehicle tail side, of the vehicle are locked or not; and based on the target braking recovery torque, the vehicle is controlled to perform braking energy recovery or quit braking energy recovery, the situation that when only front wheels are locked, rear wheels directly quit braking energy recovery, and consequently the vehicle has the speed shifting phenomenon is avoided, or when the rear wheels are locked, the braking energy recovery suddenly quits completely, and consequently the speed shifting phenomenon is caused is avoided, and potential safety hazards are reduced.
