The invention discloses a method and device for determining the braking distance of a freight train, and relates to the technical field of train braking safety protection. According to the scheme, after a vehicle-mounted ATP outputs a braking command, the train braking process is divided into a braking response stage, a braking propagation stage and a braking stable stage to be processed through a preset braking model, then braking distances obtained in all the stages are accumulated, and finally the braking distance of the freight train is determined. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that the method is not affected by factors such as long marshalling and large carrying mass of the freight train, the processing of the braking model is more in line with the actual braking process of the train on the basis of the three stages, so that the braking safety distance of the freight train determined by the braking model is not too long, and parking safety is guaranteed; the technical problem that the braking distance obtained by an existing safety braking model is too conservative is solved, and the running efficiency of a train can be improved.

    本申请公开了一种货运列车制动距离的确定方法及装置,涉及列车制动安全防护技术领域。本申请提供方案为:在车载ATP输出制动命令之后,本申请利用预置制动模型将列车制动过程划分成制动响应阶段、制动传播阶段和制动稳定阶段进行处理,然后将每个阶段得到的制动距离进行累加,以最终确定得到货车列车制动距离。相较于现有技术,本申请不会受到货运列车自身编组长、运载质量大等因素的影响,而是基于这样三个阶段使得制动模型的处理,更加符合列车实际制动过程,由此利用这样制动模型所确定的货车制动安全距离,不会过长且保证停车安全,解决了现有安全制动模型得到制动距离过于保守的技术问题,并且有助于提高列车的运行效率。
