The invention discloses a variable-diameter wheel type pole-climbing robot which comprises a base frame serving as a central structure to be connected with an overall mechanism; the upper support plate is arranged above the base frame and is used for connecting the base frame and the upper clamping mechanism; the lower supporting plate is arranged below the base frame and used for connecting the base frame and the lower clamping mechanism; the upper clamping mechanism is arranged in front of the upper supporting plate and used for clamping a target rod body; the lower clamping mechanism is arranged in front of the lower supporting plate and used for clamping a target rod body; the wheel type driving mechanism is arranged in the middle of the base frame and used for driving the wheels to rotate to achieve overall ascending and descending work. By arranging the upper clamping mechanism, the lower clamping mechanism, the matching wheel type driving mechanism, the base frame, the upper supporting plate, the lower supporting plate and the like, stable clamping, crawling and rising of a pole body can be achieved, and different from a clamping and lifting type pole-climbing robot, the problem that an existing pole-climbing robot with a simple structure is difficult to stably hold when climbing the pole body is solved; and the efficiency of the pole-climbing robot is improved.
本发明公开了一种变直径轮式爬杆机器人,包括有:基架,作为中枢结构连接整体机构;上支板,其设置在基架上方,用于连接基架和上夹持机构;下支板,其设置在基架下方,用于连接基架和下夹持机构;上夹持机构,其设置在上支板前方,用于夹紧目标杆体;下夹持机构,其设置在下支板前方,用于夹紧目标杆体;轮式驱动机构,其设置在基架中部,用于驱动轮子旋转达到整体上升、下降工作。本发明通过设置上夹持机构、下夹持机构,配合轮式驱动机构以及基架、上支板、下支板等,能够实现对杆体稳定夹持爬行上升,不同于夹持升降式爬杆机器人,解决了现有结构简单的爬杆机器人在攀爬杆干时难以稳定抱紧的问题,提升了爬杆机器人的效率。
