The invention discloses a single-point intersection traffic signal timing optimization method based on an IAGA algorithm, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: S1, establishing a nonlinear multi-target signal timing optimization model based on an optimization target and a constraint condition; s2, solving the nonlinear multi-target signal timing optimization model based on an IAGA algorithm; and S3, inputting intersection data to be optimized into the solved nonlinear multi-target signal timing optimization model to obtain a timing optimization scheme. According to the method, the duration of the signal lamp is adjusted through various evaluation indexes, so that the traffic flow can be optimized more comprehensively according to the actual traffic condition, the queuing waiting time is shortened, the occurrence of the intersection blockage condition is reduced, and the road traffic capacity and the overall efficiency of a traffic system are improved.
