The invention provides an elevator operation monitoring system which comprises a plurality of detection subunits arranged in one-to-one correspondence with a plurality of landing doors, and each detection subunit comprises a vibration detection unit which comprises at least two sensors arranged on the two landing doors and is used for detecting vibration parameters of the landing doors when the landing doors are opened and closed; the offset detection unit comprises two offset detection assemblies arranged in one-to-one correspondence with the two landing doors and is used for detecting the vibration amplitude of the landing doors in the first direction perpendicular to the opening direction; and the control unit is connected with the vibration detection unit and the offset detection unit, and is used for controlling the offset detection unit to work when the vibration parameter detected by the vibration detection unit exceeds a preset value. The real-time working condition of the elevator can be predicted according to the monitoring information, and corresponding measures can be taken for the elevator door according to the predicted real-time working condition of the elevator, so that the phenomena that the elevator door is stuck and cannot be normally opened and closed can be effectively reduced, and safe operation of the elevator is ensured.
