The invention discloses a steering radius control method of an articulated steering tractor, which comprises the following steps: when the articulated steering tractor works, the steering angle of a steering wheel is transmitted to a steering controller through an angle sensor, and the steering controller calculates an articulated steering angle and a front wheel steering angle under the minimum steering radius and transmits a signal to a corresponding steering actuator; the front wheel steering angle sensor and the bowing steering angle sensor feed back a real-time bowing steering angle signal and a real-time front wheel steering angle signal to the steering controller, the steering controller adjusts a bowing steering angle and a front wheel steering angle, then the signals are transmitted to the corresponding steering actuator, and the bowing steering angle and the front wheel steering angle are changed through correction. Therefore, the steering radius of the bowing steering tractor is the lowest. According to the method, a steering actuator comprises three electric cylinders, one electric cylinder is additionally arranged on a steering trapezoid, front wheel steering and bowing steering are combined, and the steering radius of the bowing steering tractor during steering can be reduced to the maximum extent.
