The invention relates to the technical field of energy management of energy storage devices, and discloses an energy management method, which comprises the following steps of: determining residual charging and discharging requirements of an energy storage device in a current time period; the residual charging and discharging demand is used for representing whether a charging and discharging threshold value is reasonably set or not; determining the working condition of the energy storage device in the current time period according to the residual charging and discharging demand; and adjusting the charging and discharging threshold value of the energy storage device in the next time period according to the working condition, and performing energy management on the energy storage device. According to the technical scheme provided by one or more embodiments, information of a train or a substation does not need to be additionally obtained, the working condition is directly determined according to the residual charging and discharging requirements of the energy storage device, and therefore energy management is carried out by adjusting the charging and discharging threshold values, and the efficiency is improved. The problem that the energy-saving effect is poor due to the fact that the energy storage device cannot be charged or discharged in time can be effectively solved.
