The invention relates to a computer-implemented method and a corresponding system for the behavior planning of a vehicle, using a predefined rule set (2) having prioritized rules for evaluating possible behavior patterns of the vehicle in a given situation. For this purpose, situation-specific information is aggregated and a surrounding model (11) of the given situation is generated on the basis of the situation-specific information. According to the invention, the set of rules (2) comprises a decision flow structure which ranks the priorities of the respective rules representative of the set of rules (2). A boundary condition is determined on the basis of a possible behavior pattern of the vehicle in the surroundings model (11). These boundary conditions are then prioritized by applying the decision process structures to corresponding boundary conditions.
