The invention belongs to the technical field of Internet of Vehicles, and particularly relates to a federated learning-based vehicle environment perception method, which comprises the following steps of: 1, establishing a model: starting to design a geographic perception model; 2, determining a cluster ID (Identity) by a geographic perception model; 3, the VFN selects a customer vehicle based on a DQN algorithm; 4, a client vehicle local training model is established; 5, aggregating the client local model to the VFN; and step 6, the models to which the VFNs of the same cluster ID belong are aggregated to a server, and in the step 2, based on the available GPS information of the VFNs, the map model can determine the cluster to which the map model belongs, and the map model depends on pre-constructed map data. The advanced federation learning strategy and the communication optimization strategy are adopted, the communication cost is reduced, the network burden is relieved, the environment perception model performance and the model accuracy are improved, and the real-time performance of the whole system is good especially in a high-density environment.
