The invention discloses a driving environment perception system based on vehicle-vehicle coordination. A driving state recognition module used for collecting a physical state of a driver is mounted in a vehicle; a collected signal is transmitted to a dedicated short range communication module by the driving state recognition module; the dedicated short range communication module transmits the signal to a human-computer interaction interface, and interacts information with a vehicle nearby, on which the driving environment perception system is mounted. On the basis of own driving performance and a consensus rule, a driving path, through which a user can regularly, safely and rapidly reaches a destination can be identified and planned reliably and accurately in real time. In the driving process, objects possibly having potential safety hazards on driving safety and around the driving path can be accurately identified in real time, so that the necessary operation can be carried out to avoid traffic accidents. Compared with a common driving environment perception system, the driving environment perception system and the method provided by the invention are more effective.
