The invention discloses a roof truss turning-over and righting system and method, the system comprises a roof truss, a turning-over lifting hole is pre-buried at each node of the roof truss, a connecting piece is arranged at at least one turning-over lifting hole in a penetrating manner, and a part of the connecting piece extends out of the turning-over lifting hole; each clamping ring assembly comprises a lifting rope, the free end, facing the roof truss, of each lifting rope is used for being connected with the corresponding turnover lifting hole and/or the corresponding connecting piece, a lifting point is formed in a rope body, away from the roof truss, of each lifting rope, and the position of an acting point, on the corresponding clamping ring assembly, of each lifting rope can be adjusted; therefore, the roof truss hoisting stress is uniform; and one side of each hoisting protection piece is inserted in the upper chord position of the roof truss, and the hoisting protection pieces are connected with the hoisting ropes in the clamping ring assemblies through connecting ropes so as to protect the corners of the roof truss from being damaged and protect the hoisting ropes from being abraded in the overturning and righting process of the roof truss.
