The invention relates to a regional sub-region signal coordination model establishment method, which belongs to the technical field of traffic signal control and comprises the following steps of: establishing a target function by taking the maximum green wave band width as an optimization target; the method comprises the following steps: improving an MULTIBAN-96 model based on an asymmetric multi-bandwidth model to obtain a first model; expanding the sub-region division model to obtain a second model; establishing a third model based on the sub-region division model, wherein the third model comprises a signal coordination model between the sub-regions; and integrating the target function, the first model, the second model and the third model to obtain a final regional sub-region signal coordination model, thereby solving the problem that optimal signal coordination control in the region is difficult to realize in the prior art.
